Head of People
Job Description
Head of People
Location: London (Hybrid: 2 days in-office, 3 remote)
Reporting to: CEO
Salary: £70,000–£80,000 + Performance Linked Incentives
About the Company
I am delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, founder-led professional services firm with offices in London and globally. They are looking for a Head of People to help scale sustainably and with purpose.
This is an opportunity to join a values-driven leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a business with big ambitions and real momentum.
Role:
As Head of People, you will lead the development and execution of a values-driven people strategy that supports the company’s continued growth while preserving its culture. You will play a central role in building a high-performing, inclusive environment across a multi-location team, guiding the business through change.
You will be responsible for designing and embedding structured career development pathways at every level of the organisation. This includes leading a transparent, motivating performance management framework and championing internal mobility to support the growth of future leaders.
Operationally, you will oversee the full employee lifecycle; from onboarding through to offboarding and ensuring processes are both efficient and human-centred. You will maintain up-to-date, compliant policies and documentation, and work closely with the finance team to align workforce planning with commercial priorities.
In addition, you will shape and execute a recruitment strategy that attracts high-quality talent aligned with the company’s values and ambitions. You’ll ensure the hiring process is consistent, positive, and well-managed at every stage, while also working with marketing to strengthen and amplify the employer brand in a competitive market.
You will be:
- A seasoned people leader who combines strategic insight with practical experience. Someone who brings both emotional intelligence and commercial awareness to the table, and who leads with conviction and care.
- You will have a track record of leading People or HR functions within fast-growing businesses, with a proven ability to design career development frameworks, drive cultural evolution, and manage organisational change.
- Experience in Professional Services or Hospitality is highly valued, though not essential.
