We are seeking a proactive and creative Corporate Communications Officer to support the execution of the organisation’s corporate affairs strategy. The role involves assisting with a broad range of external and internal communications, including social media, digital content, events, media relations, and thought leadership. This position is ideal for a motivated communications professional with strong writing skills, media awareness, and a passion for storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:

Draft and schedule engaging content across social media platforms.

Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns and follower engagement.

Create and distribute press releases and media materials to secure coverage.

Maintain and update media contact lists; help build media relationships.

Monitor and report on media coverage and social media metrics.

Support media-related administrative tasks including media event planning and mailbox management.

Assist in delivering internal communication initiatives and employee engagement campaigns.

Create and manage digital content for internal platforms (e.g., intranet, newsletters).

Support in maintaining internal communication tools and channels.

Draft and edit content for blogs, websites, marketing materials, and social media.

Conduct background research for content development.

Proofread and review content for quality, consistency, and brand alignment.

Help maintain content and editorial calendars.

Assist in planning and coordinating internal events, webinars, and meetings.

Manage event logistics including scheduling, venue arrangements, materials preparation, and registration.

Provide on-site event support and post-event feedback and reporting.

Translate or review communication materials between English and Arabic.

Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including business card orders, invoices, and meeting scheduling.

Coordinate and track progress of communications projects and reports.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Follow established internal communication processes and procedures.

Contribute to risk management by ensuring communications align with organisational policies.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
-
3–5 years of experience in a corporate communications or public relations role.
-
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both English and Arabic.
