TigerHR are delighted to be working with a leading specialist supported living provider in the UK to recruit a brand new role, Head of Culture & Engagement.
We’re looking for a creative, people-focused professional to take the lead on a refreshed internal engagement and wellbeing programme. This is your chance to shape a unique role that drives real impact across their services and supports their ambition to be the best place to work and grow a career in care.
As Head of Culture & Engagement, you will lead Club Wellgate. The programme is built around three core areas: showcasing employee benefits such as holiday homes, free online GP access, and the Blue Light Card; promoting career development through training, internal progression, and the Wellgate Heroes initiative; and bringing our organisational values to life through shared stories and local initiatives.
A central element of the role is building and supporting a national network of Club Reps, with one representative in each service acting as a local ambassador. Supported by a small central team, this network ensures the Club is embedded consistently across the organisation.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-impact engagement programme and contribute to our long-term goal of making Wellgate the best place to work and build a career in the care sector
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and embed the programme offering across all business areas and locations, ensuring employees understand and value the benefits available.
- Travel regularly to UK sites to host face-to-face engagement sessions, deliver briefings, run drop-ins, and gather real-time feedback.
- Work collaboratively with HR, Operations, and local managers to tailor engagement activity to site-specific needs.
- Design and deliver engaging communication campaigns and materials to showcase Club content, including wellbeing, recognition, perks, and employee support.
- Support internal campaigns aligned to the employee lifecycle (e.g. onboarding, reward milestones, wellbeing awareness weeks).
- Track participation and feedback to inform ongoing improvement of the Club and related internal comms.
About you:
We're looking for a confident and approachable professional with experience in employee engagement, HR culture, or internal communications. You should be a strong storyteller with excellent written and visual communication skills, passionate about employee wellbeing, and capable of planning and delivering impactful engagement initiatives. The role involves regular UK travel, so a full driving licence is desirable. As this is a part-time, flexible, and field-based position, we’re looking for a self-starter who can work independently and thrives in a dynamic, agile working environment.
