Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Lead (E-commerce) with a strong background in web and mobile application development (iOS & Android) to join our client's fast-growing e-commerce company in Kuwait. This is an on-site leadership role for a proactive, hands-on individual who can lead by example, build and mentor a high-performing tech team, and drive complex technical projects from concept to deployment.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the in-house development team responsible for e-commerce application.

Oversee the full software development lifecycle—from planning to deployment—ensuring timely and high-quality feature delivery.

Review, maintain, and optimize the existing codebase, enforcing industry best practices and coding standards.

Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure technical alignment with business goals.

Actively contribute to development efforts—preferably using Flutter and Laravel—while supporting and reviewing the work of other developers.

Recruit and build a high-performing team, ensuring the right mix of skills tailored to e-commerce development needs.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, mentor team members, and conduct regular code reviews.

Ensure the implementation of best practices related to security, performance optimization, and scalability.

Collaborate with external vendors and stakeholders as needed to support development and integration efforts.
Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Laravel (or comparable frameworks).

Demonstrated success in leading development teams or managing technology projects in the e-commerce domain.

Proven experience in hiring, mentoring, and managing developers.

Solid understanding of e-commerce platforms and retail technology systems (highly preferred).

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or project management capacity.
