Private Chef – Family Residence

Location: Dubai (Live-out)
Remuneration: AED 20,000 - AED 35,000 per month
Schedule: Six days per week (Monday to Saturday), 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., with Sundays off
Commencement: End of September

Summary

An experienced and highly skilled Private Chef is sought to serve a family of four who have recently relocated from London to Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of refined and varied meals within the family residence, with an emphasis on Japanese and wider Asian cuisine, complemented by Mediterranean and European cookery. The role entails the preparation of breakfast and dinner daily, with lunches occasionally required (40% of the time), executed to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• To design and prepare balanced, seasonal menus incorporating Japanese/Asian, Mediterranean, and European influences.
• To source and procure only the freshest and finest quality ingredients from reputable suppliers.
• To prepare and serve meals for the family in accordance with their tastes, preferences, and dietary requirements.
• To ensure the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organisation at all times.
• To adapt menus and presentations for family occasions and private entertaining, as required.
• To manage kitchen stock, procurement, and inventory efficiently and independently.
• To demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Private Chef within a private household or leading luxury hospitality setting.
• Advanced expertise in Japanese and Asian cuisine, with versatility in Mediterranean and European cookery.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise courteously with the family and household staff.
• A professional, adaptable, and proactive demeanour, with a keen and willing attitude.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capability to work autonomously.
• Residence in Dubai, with the ability to work on a live out basis.
