Job Description

Chief of Staff      (TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY)

Global Investment Bank

Location: New York (Hybrid)

Permanent

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 p.a.

I am working with a global investment bank that provides M&A advisory to high-growth companies in the knowledge-intensive business services sector. With offices in New York, Atlanta, Boston, London, Singapore and Sydney, they work with founder-led businesses, private equity, and strategic buyers on transactions that shape the future of specialist services and tech-enabled sectors.

I am seeking a highly strategic Chief of Staff to serve as a partner to the executive team - including the CFO, CEO, and Chief Transformation & Operations Officer (CTOO). This pivotal role drives high-impact, transformational initiatives and ensures operational excellence across the organization. You’ll work closely with leadership to plan and execute key priorities, lead cross-functional projects, and help foster a collaborative, mission-driven culture. The Chief of Staff reports directly to the CTOO.

Kindly note: to be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in management consultancy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and execute strategic and transformational initiatives aligned with company goals.
  • Own the preparation and execution of critical meetings—including board, leadership, and operations meetings—by setting agendas, preparing materials, capturing insights, and tracking action items.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, promoting alignment, morale, and collaboration across global teams.
  • Coordinate effectively across functions and geographies, ensuring smooth communication and operational synergy between the CFO, CEO, CTOO, and broader staff.
  • Support strategic planning efforts through research, presentation development, and process improvement.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in operations, strategy, or executive-level support, ideally within financial services or professional services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a talent for engaging teams and driving accountability.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
