Our client, a global management and technology consultancy with Swiss roots, is seeking a Strategic Account Leader to lead and expand relationships with key financial services clients. This is a senior client-facing role focused on business development, strategic delivery, and long- term partnership building within the banking and insurance sectors.

As a Strategic Account Leader, you will play a critical role in connecting client needs with the firm’s consulting capabilities. You’ll help shape complex solutions, drive growth, and ensure lasting impact for both clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow strategic client relationships across financial institutions, acting as a trusted advisor

• Identify new business opportunities and lead sales efforts from opportunity shaping to closure

• Oversee delivery of consulting solutions across strategy, operations, and technology

• Facilitate interviews and workshops to define client visions and identify high-impact initiatives

• Act as the bridge between client challenges and internal delivery teams

• Mentor and develop junior team members, enhancing industry and consulting capabilities

• Monitor market trends and contribute to business development and thought leadership efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university; advanced degree (MBA, MSc) preferred

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry, ideally within management consulting

• Proven experience in business development, account management, and solution delivery

• Strong understanding of how business and technology intersect in financial services

• Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and manage complex stakeholder environments

• Fluent in German and English
