Human Resources Manager

Manchester, Vermont

Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $85,000 p.a. - $105,000 p.a.

Start: ASAP

Tiger is working with a single-family office originally founded in 2008 in Montreal, Canada. The firm has historically operated in stealth mode, managing the private assets and strategic investments of a UHNW principal. They are undergoing a major corporate relocation and expansion and are looking for a Human Resources Manager to handle their Vermont and Canadian employees. This job is remote but the employee must be based in or close to Manchester, Vermont. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Administer HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and employment laws
  • Administer payroll, which incorporates both exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and oversee onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll
  • Support performance review processes and track employee evaluations and training
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and personnel files
  • Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and liaise with benefit providers
  • Address employee relations issues under guidance of HR leadership and help resolve workplace conflicts
  • Prepare HR reports, analyze data, and present metrics related to headcount, turnover, and engagement

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5  - 8 years of HR experience supporting multiple HR functions
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with employees at all levels
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required
