Job Title: Investment Implementation Specialist

Location: Abu Dhabi – Emiratisation Role

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Investment Implementation Specialist to contribute to the successful implementation of investment decisions and to the custody, reporting and document control functions of the investment operations platform.  Facilitate the department business and strategic planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead activities related to the effective execution of investment decisions across all asset classes with the custodians, internal and external legal/tax counsel, fund managers, investment managers in public and private markets.
• Administer the local private markets implementation and ongoing operational management framework.
• Administer the formal third-party monitoring framework, including review and trend analysis of KPIs, SLAs and annual due diligence.
• Lead and Execute initiatives of asset administration, safekeeping, portfolio reconciliation, trade processing/settlement and cash management, cash projection, asset allocation and implementation of re-balancing decisions.
• Carry on and Lead investment senior management reporting
• Perform analytical and research assignments and lead operational projects, as directed
• Support daily functions of monitoring compliance of all investment managers to the defined portfolio guidelines
• Carry out review of policies and procedures and all other governance documents to reflect current operating model.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field is recommended
• Graduate or professional designation is desirable
• Experience in financial accounting and related activities
• Minimum of 7 years’ financial operations experience
• Experience with an investment custodian is highly beneficial
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Ability to independently lead and execute initiatives
• Written and oral communication skills
• Proficient skills using computer based analytical tools
• Adaptability to changing demands and priorities
