Job Description
Associate Director – Employee Relations - UAE Nationals only (Nationalisation role)
A fantastic opportunity with a leading investment firm with global presence who are seeking an experienced HR professional to head up Employee Relations. This senior role acts as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring compliance with UAE labor law while driving positive employee relations and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Lead employee investigations, conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary cases

Advise leadership on complex employee relations matters and labor law implications
- Manage timely resolution of all employee relations issues escalated.

Oversee promotions, transfers, exits, leave management, and time & attendance

Ensure compliance with UAE national pension and GPSSA requirements

Manage HR operations including visa services, employee documentation, onboarding/offboarding, HRMS updates, and insurance administration

Drive process improvements, automation, and self-service HR systems

Prepare reports, case logs, and presentations for senior management
Requirements
-
UAE National (mandatory)
-
8–10 years’ HR experience, with at least 3 years in employee relations

Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, MOHRE processes, and HR systems

Graduate in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related field (CIPD Level 5/7 preferred)

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
