Tiger is working with a prestigious design studio that leverages proprietary technology and their distribution model to offer clients a full life-cycle solution. They are looking to hire a consultant to come in as their Human Resource Manager.  This position will remain as a temporary position through the end of the year, with the strong possibility of it going full-time by January.  Please note that this position is based in Pico Rivera, California.

Responsibilities:

• Employee Support & Relations: Conduct employee relations activities, including coaching, investigations, and guiding managers through performance and discipline processes, including terminations.
• On-Site Presence: Be physically present in the office Monday through Friday during standard business hours to provide real-time employee support, maintain visibility for managers and employees, and mentor team members.
• Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead or support recruiting, screening, hiring, and onboarding processes to build and retain the workforce. Run background and/or drug tests.
• Compensation & Benefits: Assist in administering payroll, time off policies, salary structures, benefits programs, and related compliance activities.
• Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and reporting requirements.
• HR Programs & Policy: Develop, review, and implement HR policies, leaves, programs, and initiatives that align with business needs.
• Meetings & Collaboration: Participate in leadership meetings and cross-functional projects, and provide policy updates to Managers in these meetings.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain HR records, reports, and documentation for compliance and planning.

Qualifications: 

• A minimum of 4+ years of Human Resources experience
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment
• Preferred HR certification, such as SHRM‐CP, SHRM‐SCP
• Experience with ADP
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Highly organized, excellent time management skills, and reliable
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Adept at multitasking
