Legal Secretary – International Law Firm (DIFC, Dubai)

Salary up to AED 25,000 per month with excellent benefits 

Hybrid - 3 days in the office 2 days from home

 

Only candidates who have UAE experience will be considered for this role.

All applicants must have experience working as a Legal Secretary at an International law firm. 

 

An international law firm based in the DIFC is seeking a Legal Secretary to provide high level support to Partners. 

 

The role has a strong focus on billing and financial administration, alongside diary management, legal administrative tasks, and business development support. 

 

You will work closely with partners, fee earners, the finance team, and marketing teams across multiple Middle East offices.

 

Candidates must have extensive experience handling billing processes within a law firm environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Managing partners' diaries, travel arrangements, and coordinating client meetings across multiple time zones.

 

Preparing and formatting legal documents, PowerPoint presentations, pitches, and marketing materials.

 

Assisting with client onboarding, conflict checks, and compliance documentation.

 

Supporting business development activities including updating CVs, team profiles, and assisting with client events and bids.

 

Maintaining and updating the firm’s document management and client relationship management systems.

 

Managing the full billing lifecycle, including preparing, reviewing, amending, and finalising invoices to meet strict deadlines.

 

Collaborating with the finance team and partners to ensure timely and accurate billing, time entry management, and matter financial reporting.

 

Candidate Requirements:

 

Extensive billing and financial administration experience within a law firm is essential.

 

Previous experience supporting senior stakeholders in a legal environment.

 

Excellent written and spoken English.

 

Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

 

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 

Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach.
