Position: Resource Management Coordinator
Department: Resource Management
Contract Type: Fixed-Term
Location: London (Hybrid)
Reports To: EMEA Resource Manager

Overview:
A leading international consulting firm is seeking a Resource Management Coordinator to support its London-based operations. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team responsible for aligning staffing needs with project demands across the organisation’s European practices. This role plays a key part in ensuring optimal resource allocation, supporting business goals and employee development.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the resource allocation process by collaborating with team members and business stakeholders to understand project requirements

  • Respond to staffing requests, providing timely and accurate resourcing solutions

  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, addressing queries and building cross-functional relationships

  • Update and maintain the resource management system (e.g., Retain) with project assignments, leave requests and booking amendments

  • Monitor staff utilisation and capacity, flagging resourcing concerns as needed

  • Manage team documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping

Experience Required:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in resource management, professional services resourcing, or a related administrative function

  • Experience using Retain or similar resourcing tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

Skills and Attributes:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Proactive and eager to learn

  • Interest in the professional services or consulting industry

  • Knowledge of an additional European language is advantageous but not essential
