Job Description

About the Role:

Our client is a leading Business Consulting firm in the region, currently seeking a Business Development Coordinator to provide seamless assistance to the Business Development Team. This individual will play a key role in supporting business development operations and ensuring the smooth flow of leads through the sales pipeline. Working closely with the Executive Assistant and business development team, this role combines administrative support, CRM management, and direct engagement with new prospects.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Executive & Team Support

  • Manage calendars, schedule internal and external meetings, and coordinate appointments for the executive team
  • Monitor and organise executive email inboxes, prioritising urgent communications
  • Assist with meeting preparation, follow-ups, and occasional travel arrangements

Lead Management & Business Development Support

  • Act as the initial point of contact for new business inquiries, engaging with leads promptly via email and phone to understand their needs

  • Qualify and assess prospective clients, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate business development consultant based on service requirements

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings between qualified prospects and the business development team, ensuring seamless communication throughout the process

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead activity and client interactions within the CRM system

  • Support consistent follow-up communications to nurture leads and help move them through the business development pipeline

  • Track and report on lead conversion metrics and pipeline progress, delivering timely updates to the leadership team

  • Assist in reviewing client proposals to ensure alignment with brand standards, client expectations, and service scope

  • Assist with Business Development Operations, including document preparation and CRM data integrity

CRM & Data Management

  • Maintain and update client information in the CRM system
  • Track lead status, communications, and activities to ensure data accuracy
  • Generate CRM reports and insights to support business development and operations

Research & General Administration

  • Conduct targeted research on industries, companies, or markets to support business development and client projects
  • Assist with creating briefing documents, summaries, and internal notes
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the broader team as required

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role (Executive Assistant, Business Coordinator, Team Assistant, or Business Support)
  • Prior experience in a corporate environment, preferably within professional services.
  • Proficient with CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Professional, discreet, and client-focused approach
