You will be shaping Dubai’s skyline for a dynamic real estate development company specialising in residential and mixed-use projects that combine innovative design, technical excellence, and sustainable practices. As part of their continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Design Manager to oversee the design and technical delivery of our developments from concept to completion. This will include Pre- & Post-Contract, Civil, Structural, Architectural, Interior Design & MEP Coordination. This is a hands-on leadership role that bridges design intent with on-site reality, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of quality, cost efficiency, and technical precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept through to detailed design, tender, and construction stages.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, ensuring design integration across all disciplines.
• Oversee feasibility studies and optimise GFA, BUA, and NSA efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Dubai authority regulations (DM, DDA, DEWA, RTA, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Conduct value engineering and cost optimisation without compromising design intent.
• Drive design quality, sustainability, and innovation across projects.
• Manage approvals, documentation, and coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support tendering and construction teams with technical input and design clarifications.

About You

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred).
• 10+ years’ experience overall, including at least 5 years with a real estate developer in Dubai.
• Proven expertise in both pre-contract and post-contract design management.
• Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality and local authority approval processes.
• Skilled in consultant coordination, design optimisation, and construction interface management.
• Technical proficiency in design review, MEP coordination, and cost-conscious design solutions.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and sustainability standards (LEED, etc.) is an advantage.
