Tiger Private is seeking an experienced Groundsman to maintain the external areas of a large, privately owned Manor house in West Sussex, including maintaining the leisure facilities, vehicles, and estate animals to a high standard, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-presented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Grounds and garden upkeep: mowing, strimming, pruning, planting, path/driveway care, debris clearing.
• Maintain outdoor features: fencing, gates, furniture, water features.
• Pool and tennis court checks and light maintenance.
• External cleaning: patios, terraces, façades; assist drainage and minor repair tasks.
• Manage garden waste, bins, recycling, garages, and outdoor storage.
• Clean and monitor estate vehicles; support servicing schedule.
• Assist with pet care, walking, and veterinary support.
• Operate and maintain tools and machinery; safe storage.
• Provide seasonal support and assist with estate events.

Skills & Experience

• Groundskeeping/gardening experience preferred.
• Competent with horticultural equipment and basic maintenance.
• Physically fit; comfortable working outdoors in all weathers.
• Trustworthy, proactive, and discreet.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Hours: 40 per week (flexible; occasional weekends/events)
Salary: Competitive, DOE
