About the role:

My client is a well-established consulting firm providing end-to-end business setup, advisory, and corporate services across the GCC. With a strong reputation for excellence and trusted relationships in the region, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead their commercial growth strategy and drive new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will oversee the firm’s business development function, manage a growing team, and play a pivotal role in identifying new revenue streams, strengthening client relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets across multiple markets, particularly in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven leader with strong market knowledge and a passion for building partnerships that fuel sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s business development and sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.

  • Set and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for the BD team, ensuring KPIs are consistently met.

  • Lead major client acquisition initiatives from initial engagement through to successful close.

  • Identify new service opportunities, market segments, and partnership channels to support business diversification.

  • Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with clients, intermediaries, and key referral partners across the UAE and KSA.

  • Manage and mentor the Business Development team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Oversee the use of CRM tools to ensure accurate pipeline management, reporting, and forecasting.

  • Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align business development activities with broader company objectives.

  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and market analysis to senior management.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments affecting the firm’s business.

  • Represent the company at key networking events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or commercial strategy within professional or corporate services (consulting, legal, finance, or similar).

  • Experience managing teams or leading business growth functions.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue and performance targets.

  • Deep understanding of the market, including business culture, regulations, and client expectations.

  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
