Tiger Private is seeking an experienced and highly capable Rota-Housekeeper (1 week on/ 1 week off) to join a private family home based in Wimbledon Village. This is a permanent position supporting a busy household that includes children and a large, well-trained dog. The role would suit a proactive and adaptable individual with significant experience running a large private home and supporting family life.

This position involves ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the household to an exceptional standard. Responsibilities include daily cleaning and organisation of the home, laundry and ironing, wardrobe and shoe care, managing delicate and luxury items, and overseeing household supplies. You will be responsible for changing bed linen, managing the weekly food shop, preparing simple family-style meals when required, running errands, and handling deliveries. The role also includes liaising with and overseeing contractors working within the property.

Alongside housekeeping duties, the successful candidate will provide support with the children as needed, including occasional school or activity collections, playdate pickups, and babysitting by prior arrangement. You will also assist with the care of the family dog, including general supervision and dog sitting when the family is away. Occasional overnight house sitting may be required. Confident driving in London is essential; a car is provided if needed.

The working pattern operates on a rota basis. One week will involve on-site attendance Monday to Friday, 8am–8pm, followed by one week on an on-call basis during the same hours. Flexibility is required, with overtime arranged in advance where necessary.

The ideal candidate will be discreet, reliable, and highly organised, with a calm and unflappable approach. You must be comfortable working as part of a wider household team and providing cover for other housekeeping staff within a 10-mile radius when required. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a professional, approachable manner are essential.
