Our client, a leading Membership Organisation within Professional Services, are looking to hire a driven and experienced Events Director.

Role: Events Director
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum
Where: City of London
When: Monday - Friday / hybrid working

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with companies visions and goals
• Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, sponsors and internal stakeholders - keeping honest and clear communication throughout 
• Oversee all aspects of event planning from conception to completion, including logistics, venue selection, catering, equipment and on-site setup and breakdown
• Develop and monitor event budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accountability
• Line manage 4 direct reports, ensuring smooth running of the team
• Ensure all events comply with legal, safety and health regulations
• Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to optimise cost-efficiency and profitability

What you need:

• Extensive experience within a senior level role 
• Clear experience within an events role within Professional Services 
• Proven track record of executing large-scale and high-profile events
• Experience leading and managing a team
• First class communication skills - both oral and written
• Creative yet professional approach
