Job Description
Private Personal Assistant / Household Manager (Part-Time – 5–15 hrs per week)
Location: Pimlico, London (primarily in-person role) £20 per hour
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and trustworthy individual to provide in-person support to a busy professional and father. This role blends personal assistance with light household management and general errand-running. It is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, takes initiative, and can be relied upon to handle a variety of day-to-day tasks with discretion and care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on support with day-to-day household management and organisation
• Liaise with and oversee household staff (e.g. housekeeper, tradespeople, deliveries)
• Run personal errands such as shopping, dry cleaning, post office visits, and gift purchasing
• Assist with appointment scheduling, reservations, and diary management
• Maintain household supplies and ensure the home is well-organised and functional
• Support with planning and hosting informal gatherings or small events
• Manage communications, taking messages and handling correspondence where appropriate
• Keep track of ongoing household and personal projects, ensuring follow-up and completion
• Occasionally assist with light business-related or administrative tasks
Requirements
• Strong sense of initiative, reliability, and discretion
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Warm, professional, and service-oriented approach
• Tech-savvy and comfortable managing calendars, notes, and lists digitally, including Mac, Apple Notes, and WhatsApp
• Trustworthy and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Must be based in, or able to easily travel to, Pimlico for regular in-person work
