We are delighted to be supporting a specialised Investment company who are seeking a Fund Accountant to manage the finances and reporting for a portfolio of around 50 existing venture capital investments

The role will focus on keeping track of the current investments and providing updates to about 70 investors.

This position is office-based in Wimbledon, South West London

Key Responsibilities:

• Review year-end financial statements for all investment funds and SPVs
• Oversee administrators on matters such as shareholder consents, board resolutions, and meetings
• Monitor cash positions across investment vehicles and manage cash flow
• Prepare quarterly valuations in line with the agreed valuation framework and IPEV guidelines
• Assist with quarterly reporting on the portfolio and individual investments to shareholders and investors
• Conduct portfolio analysis on an ad-hoc basis
• Support bookkeeping for the management company and associated entities as needed
• Coordinate with external accountants to prepare year-end statutory accounts in the UK
• Assist with VAT returns, corporate tax estimates, and payroll-related submissions

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
• Strong financial reporting skills and highly numerate
• Excellent analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Python is a plus
• Experience using QuickBooks
• Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently
