Overview

We’re looking for a qualified accountant to join a fast-paced, tech-focused investment firm. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership, manage key financial processes, and ensure strong governance across the business.

Responsibilities..

• Prepare accurate quarterly management accounts and statutory financial statements
• Lead the year-end audit, liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
• Oversee financial reporting deadlines and ensure regulatory compliance
• Drive the annual budgeting and rolling forecast process, including scenario planning
• Enhance financial models, reporting packs, and performance analysis
• Maintain robust internal controls and governance standards
• Manage corporate tax filings and statutory submissions with HMRC and Companies House
• Review team outputs and drive continuous improvement across finance processes

Candidate Profile:

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified accountant with an audit background
• 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally gained in Financial Services or Investment management
• Highly numerate, detail-focused, and committed to accuracy
• Advanced Excel skills and confident with accounting systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communicator and business partner, able to influence stakeholders effectively
