9-5 pm
£33,000 - £35,000 + benefits (including extra holidays during school breaks)

We are looking for a proactive and driven HR Assistant to join the Human Resources team at a leading international school in North London. Reporting to senior HR colleagues, you will provide efficient and reliable administrative and generalist HR support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a collaborative and inclusive environment and has a strong work-ethic, muck-in attitude, is tech-savvy with a strong eye for detail.
What you will be doing:
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining accurate personnel records
- Manage pre-employment checks, onboarding documentation and induction processes
- Support safeguarding-related administration and compliance monitoring
- Maintain HR systems and employee data, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Assist with recruitment administration, including posting vacancies, managing applications and coordinating interviews
- Monitor mandatory training and documentation requirements
- Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries from staff and external parties
- Support the administration of employee benefits and HR processes as required
Who you are:
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role within the educational sector or similar regulated industry
- Proactive, personable, confident, with a can-do mindset
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Tech savvy and someone who can pick including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and database systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships
- A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Desirable
- Experience using an HR information system
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or above
