Job Description

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a high-growth fintech venture operating within the payments space. As the business enters its next phase of expansion, they are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to help accelerate market entry, build strategic alliances, and support long-term revenue growth.
This role is well suited to a commercially driven professional who enjoys autonomy, values discretion, and works closely with founders and senior leadership.
Role Responsibilities

Source, engage, and secure partnerships with institutions, corporates, and key stakeholders

Drive opportunities from initial contact through negotiation and agreement

Lead commercial conversations including pricing, terms, and partnership structures

Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts

Contribute to growth planning alongside executive leadership

Partner with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing delivery

Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and performance tracking
Ideal Background

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field

Track record in business development, partnerships, or consultative sales

Exposure to fintech, payments, education, or B2B platforms is advantageous
-
Strong commercial awareness with hands-on negotiation experience

Familiarity with contracts, revenue frameworks, and deal structures
