This is a newly established aircraft leasing company backed by a well established international group with long standing operations in global travel and hospitality, including international hotel brands and travel businesses.

Role Overview
The Finance Manager will take ownership of the accounting and finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with UAE tax regulations, effective asset accounting, and strong cash flow oversight.
This is a very hands on role requiring technical accounting depth, industry understanding, and the ability to operate within structured asset financing environments.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review full sets of financial statements

Develop monthly management reports and financial analysis

Oversee fixed asset accounting and lease income recognition

Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring

Liaise with external auditors and manage annual audit processes
-
Handle regulatory filings and ensure statutory compliance
-
Monitor financed and mortgaged assets, ensuring accurate reporting
-
Support Free Zone compliance requirements where applicable

Maintain and optimise accounting systems and reporting tools
Required Qualifications & Experience
-
Accounting qualification or professional bookkeeping certification
-
Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience

Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting

Experience with lease income recognition
-
Solid understanding of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT
-
Experience using accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite or similar)

Experience preparing management reports and full financial statements
-
Proven experience managing external audits
ESSENTIAL Industry Experience

Asset-heavy SPVs
Experience in one or more of the above sectors is mandatory.

Exposure to financed or mortgaged assets

Experience working with UAE Free Zone entities

Strong working knowledge of IFRS, particularly lease and asset accounting
