Job Description
Role: Temporary Events Administrator
Salary: £14 per hour
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Contract: Approx. 4 months (Immediate start) Location: Central London
A busy Events Team is seeking a detail-driven and organised Temporary Events Administrator to provide hands-on support across a wide range of event coordination and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is interested in the events sector and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery process behind the scenes, ensuring systems, documentation and client information are managed accurately and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Events Team
- Respond to event enquiries
- Prepare and manage event-related stationery, including signage, menus, place cards and dietary requirement trackers
- Assist with creating and updating floor plans and table plans
- Accurately input high volumes of event data
- Coordinate and schedule show rounds
- Conduct competitor benchmarking
- Assist with maintaining accurate documentation and database records
Who You Are
- An organised and efficient administrator with strong attention to detail
- Ideally experienced within events, hospitality or a client-facing environment
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities
- Confident handling large volumes of data with accuracy
- Proactive, reliable and able to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
