We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Manufacturing to lead the end-to-end operational execution of manufacturing, supply chain, and warehouse activities for our client. This pivotal role ensures safe, timely, and cost-effective production while maintaining full control over inventory, suppliers, and order fulfillment readiness. The successful candidate will ensure products meet strict safety and quality standards, comply with UAE regulations, and align with brand and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily:

• Review daily production plans per SKU and batch size

• Supervise batching, filling, labeling, and packaging operations

• Monitor inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods

• Ensure FIFO, batch traceability, and warehouse cleanliness

• Coordinate inbound deliveries and verify quantities

• Resolve daily operational challenges affecting production or dispatch

• Ensure adherence to SOPs for safety, hygiene, and operational processes

• Maintain up-to-date production and inventory reports

• Oversee product quality checks and stability testing

• Maintain product documentation, batch records, and SOPs

Weekly:

• Plan production and procurement schedules

• Align inventory levels with sales forecasts

• Coordinate preventive maintenance of equipment

• Review wastage, rework, and operational inefficiencies

• Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers

• Collaborate with Product Manager on material or batch issues

• Review warehouse layout and space utilization

• Analyze quality trends and update quality documentation

Monthly:

• Optimize production costs per SKU

• Enhance operational SOPs and workflows

• Identify and onboard backup suppliers

• Support audits and inspections

• Prepare monthly operations and inventory reports

• Recommend equipment or process improvements

• Manage product registrations, certifications, renewals, and regulatory compliance

Authority & Decision-Making:

• Authority to stop production or dispatch if safety, quality, or compliance is compromised

• Reject raw materials or finished goods that do not meet standards

• Approve reorder quantities and maintain safety stock levels

• Select suppliers within budget constraints

• Block release of non-compliant product batches

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field

• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in FMCG or cleaning products

• Proven leadership experience managing production, supply chain, and warehouse teams

• Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements and quality standards

• Experience with inventory management, procurement, and supplier negotiations

• Familiarity with SOP development, safety protocols, and compliance audits

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently

• Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems
