About the Role
An opportunity has arisen within a digital marketing organisation for a Finance Manager to support international finance operations. The business is expanding across multiple regions and is looking for a finance professional to help strengthen processes, ensure consistency, and support continued growth across EMEA entities.
This role offers exposure to multiple markets and close collaboration with international finance and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable, ensuring invoices are accurately processed and payments are made on schedule while maintaining clean records
- Improve and streamline AP processes through automation tools and system enhancements where possible
- Oversee accounts receivable, including timely invoicing, statement distribution, and proactive debt follow-up
- Allocate incoming payments and maintain accurate customer account records
- Perform monthly revenue reconciliations, including accruals and deferred income adjustments
- Complete regular bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Process and monitor employee expenses and corporate card transactions, ensuring proper approvals and documentation
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances
- Support month-end close activities within strict reporting deadlines
- Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments as part of month-end reporting
- Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Progress into broader responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, and wider EMEA finance support as processes mature
- Build strong working relationships across finance and operational teams, including regional leadership
- Undertake additional finance-related tasks as required
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Background in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
- Exposure to multi-currency accounting and international operations preferred
- Experience within digital or agency environments is advantageous
- Part-qualified or working towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent)
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups
- Experience with accounting systems such as Xero and/or NetSuite preferred
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
