Travelling House Manager, Cairo Based.
Job Description
Tiger Private is seeking a highly capable, discreet, and hands-on Travelling Residence / House Manager to support UHNW Principals across multiple private residences globally. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role requiring exceptional organisational ability, strong operational oversight, and complete flexibility. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the day-to-day running of several residences, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and the highest standards at all times, while working closely alongside a Travelling Personal Assistant to ensure seamless coordination across the Principals’ lifestyle and schedule.
Due to cultural requirements, only female candidates with a background as an ex-yacht stewardess will be considered for this position.
The role will involve overseeing all aspects of household and residence management across multiple locations, including managing staff, implementing systems and procedures, coordinating maintenance and contractors, and ensuring each property is fully prepared ahead of the Principals’ arrival with exceptional attention to detail. You will also be responsible for managing inventories, procurement, budgets, and the overall operational efficiency of each residence. Alongside this, you will provide lifestyle-focused household support, including coordinating private events and dinners, managing wardrobes and personal items across locations, liaising with chefs and service staff, and sourcing items both locally and internationally.
The position requires frequent international travel with the Principals, including Dubai, Cairo, El Gouna, North Coast of Egypt, New York, Paris, Athens and Mykonos. You will oversee the full setup and breakdown of residences during travel periods, manage packing and wardrobe transitions, and ensure all personal and household items are transported and organised seamlessly. Acting as the on-site point of contact for all household-related matters while travelling will be a key part of the role. You will work in close partnership with the Travelling PA, acting as a bridge between household operations and the Principals’ schedules, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution at all times.
The schedule is fluid and dictated by the Principals’ movements, requiring a high level of flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and short-notice changes, with time off in lieu provided where appropriate and time off given during the family's visit to Mykonos in the summer. The package includes accommodation during travel, all work-related travel expenses, health insurance, and a daily allowance while travelling.
The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organised, highly detail-oriented, and operationally strong, with a calm, solutions-driven approach and the ability to anticipate needs.
