Finance Data & Analytics Manager - Shipping Experience Needed

Location – Dubai

Salary: 45,000 – 60,000 AED

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly capable Finance Data & Analytics Manager to sit at the intersection of finance and data engineering, with end-to-end ownership of our finance data infrastructure. The successful candidate will design, build, and manage data pipelines that support financial reporting, modeling, and strategic decision-making.

The role will also involve working closely with senior finance leadership to support stakeholder management, oversee external financing structures, contribute to group-level initiatives, and deliver high-quality presentations for internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement structured finance data models optimized for front-end reporting.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines connecting multiple source systems to reporting layers.
• Take ownership of financial models generated from these pipelines, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
• Develop project cash flow models, investment return analyses, and full three-statement financial models.
• Translate financial analysis into clear, concise presentations for senior management and board-level review.
• Support stakeholder management across internal teams and external financial partners.
• Contribute to strategic and cross-functional projects as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Qualified accountant with strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement build-up, including chart of accounts mapping and sound accounting judgment.
• Proven experience designing finance data structures for reporting and building ETL pipelines connecting ERP systems, operational platforms, and SQL data warehouses (experience with tools such as Alteryx preferred).
• Ability to develop, maintain, and automate financial logic using Python, including business rules and calculations, with familiarity in AI-assisted coding tools.
• Strong financial modeling capability, including building project cash flow models, investment return analyses, and full three-statement models.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including use of macros and sensitivity/scenario analysis.
• Experience building and managing dashboards (e.g., Tableau or similar), and integrating them with data pipeline outputs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of ownership and the ability to work across finance and technical teams effectively.
