Job Title: Senior Accountant

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly professional Assistant Finance Manager to support the Finance Director in overseeing the financial operations of a private investment structure. This role will be responsible for end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in driving process improvements, coordinating audits, and supporting the wider finance function, while taking on increasing ownership and stakeholder interaction within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Control

• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports across multiple entities
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger integrity
• Produce IFRS-compliant financial statements and consolidated reports
• Deliver financial analysis and stakeholder reporting, including NAV reporting
• Oversee AP/AR, intercompany transactions, and cash management

Budgeting & Analysis

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Provide financial insights to support investment and strategic decisions

Compliance & Governance

• Manage VAT and corporate tax filings and reporting
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Support corporate structuring and regulatory processes

Process & Team Support

• Improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
• Support system enhancements and automation initiatives
• Provide guidance to junior team members
• Assist with ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent)
• 5–7 years’ relevant experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment
• Strong IFRS and financial reporting knowledge
• Experience with audits and regulatory compliance
• Advanced Excel skills; accounting systems experience preferred
