Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Abu Dhabi

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: 10,000 - 18,000 AED (depending on experience)

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join a team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of accounting experience within the technology industry, and a strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency while working closely with internal stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate recording in accounting systems
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring activities
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE regulations
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements and financial documentation
• Review expense reports, invoices, and payment processes for accuracy and compliance
• Assist in process improvements and implementation of accounting controls and procedures
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to support business objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3–4 years of accounting experience, within the technology industry
• Must currently be based in Abu Dhabi
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA is an advantage
