Our client in Riyadh is looking to hire a high-performing Business Development Manager to expand their Data Security, Privacy, and Governance practice.
This is a strategic role focused on driving new business, strengthening enterprise relationships, and delivering solution-led sales in a fast-evolving regulatory landscape.
You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building trusted client relationships, and helping organisations enhance their data protection, privacy, and governance capabilities.
This role suits a consultative, commercially driven professional with strong experience in data-centric security and a solid understanding of regional compliance requirements, particularly within KSA.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business across Data Security, Privacy, and Governance solutions
- Develop strong relationships with enterprise stakeholders and decision-makers
- Understand client regulatory and data protection challenges to deliver tailored solutions
- Position solutions across:
- Data protection & encryption
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Data governance & classification
- Privacy and compliance frameworks
- Act as a trusted advisor on data security strategy, risk management, and governance best practices
- Lead client engagements including presentations, workshops, and solution demonstrations
- Manage the full sales lifecycle through to successful deal closure
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
- Stay informed on evolving data privacy regulations and cybersecurity trends
- Build and manage relationships with VARs, MSSPs, system integrators, and resellers
- Collaborate on joint go-to-market and co-selling initiatives
- Support partner enablement through training and solution positioning
- Drive pipeline growth through partner-led opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity business development
- Proven track record in enterprise sales of Data Security, Privacy, or Governance solutions
- 4–6 years of experience in sales and account management within cybersecurity or data protection
- Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, and data protection landscapes
- Knowledge of the KSA and regional cybersecurity market is essential
- Ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders
- Data protection and encryption (at rest and in transit)
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Data governance and classification frameworks
- Privacy regulations and compliance standards
- Enterprise risk and compliance alignment
- Consultative, solution-oriented sales approach
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially driven with a proactive “hunter” mindset
- Confident communicator across both technical and business audiences
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple opportunities
