Title: Human Resources Director     

Salary: $125,000 p.a.  - $150,000 p.a.

Tiger Recruitment is working with an educational company with a mission to nurture every child in a safe, inclusive environment that inspires learning. They are currently looking for a Human Resources Director that will be based in their New York City office. This person will be responsible for employees in multiple states.  Candidates must have experience with M&A.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Maintain clean, accurate, and complete employee data across HR, payroll, benefits, and related platforms.
  • Build and improve scalable HR processes.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for core HR workflows.
  • Ensure employee changes are accurately reflected in the system.
  • Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately.
  • Own benefits administration across the organization.
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements.
  • Regularly audit employee data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with leadership to improve reporting, visibility, and accountability.
  • Coach and hold managers accountable to consistent HR practices.
  • Own complex employee relations matters.
  • Lead performance management processes.
  • Lead end-to-end HR due diligence and integration for all acquisitions.
  • Consolidate newly acquired workforces into unified payroll, benefits, and HRIS platforms.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role at a M&A-active company.
  • Deep expertise in HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, multi-state compliance, and workforce risk management.
  • Experience managing and developing an HR team in a decentralized, multi-location environment.
  • Ability to develop and present HR dashboards and KPIs to executive leadership and PE sponsors.
  • Experience with workers’ compensation, EPLI, general liability, and benefits claims management.
  • Highly organized, execution-focused, and comfortable operating with autonomy.
  • High degree of ownership, follow-through, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Experience in early childhood education.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce
