Executive Assistant to Founder & CEO
Nuclear Energy Start-Up
Location: East Austin, Texas (5 days office-based)
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 + Benefits
Our client is an ambitious early-stage nuclear energy startup headquartered in Austin, Texas, focused on designing next-generation reactors for power generation. Led by an inspiring Founder & CEO, the company was born from a deep understanding of global energy markets and a conviction that nuclear energy will play a critical role in solving the long-term imbalance between energy demand and supply.

The Opportunity
This is a newly created role and an opportunity for a highly capable Executive Assistant to become a true partner to the CEO within an intense, high-growth startup environment. The position will play a critical role in enabling the CEO to remain focused on scaling the business, while helping bring structure, organization, and operational support across day-to-day activities.
The successful candidate will thrive in entrepreneurial environments, possess outstanding judgment, and bring a calm, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to everything they do.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Manage highly complex and ever-changing calendars, schedules, and priorities for the CEO
- Coordinate frequent domestic and international travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodations, and logistics
- Oversee inbox management, communication flow, and prioritization of incoming requests
- Provide seamless day-to-day administrative support to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Offer light support to an additional Chief Officer as required
Operations & Coordination
- Assist with office coordination and operational support within a collaborative startup environment
- Support ad hoc projects, research tasks, and wider business administration as needed
- Help establish and improve processes, systems, and ways of working as the business scales
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the company

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple urgent priorities simultaneously
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to think critically and proactively
