Contract: 3-Month FTC (potential extension)
Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 pro rata
Start: Immediate
We are seeking an experienced SARC Clinic Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) service, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, national guidelines, safeguarding standards, and CQC requirements. The successful candidate will manage a multidisciplinary team of approximately 10–12 staff, including Forensic Medical Examiners (FMEs), Sexual Offence Examiners, and Crisis Workers, while supporting the ongoing development and clinical governance of the service. Based in Dorset, with occasional travel to Lincoln.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the SARC service
- Oversee safeguarding, clinical governance, audits, incidents, and complaints
- Act as CQC Registered Manager
- Ensure secure handling and storage of forensic samples and records
- Promote effective partnership working across health and criminal justice agencies
Essential Requirements
- Previous SARC experience essential
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Ability to start immediately
- Police Vetting Level 2 and Enhanced DBS
- Strong safeguarding experience
- Experience managing clinical/multidisciplinary teams
Desirable
- Speculum examination skills
- Venepuncture competency
Working Pattern
- Predominantly onsite Monday–Friday
- Typical hours 9am–6pm occasional out-of-hours/weekend support required (TOIL provided)
