Job Description

Executive Assistant to Partners & COO | Private Equity | Temp

An established private equity investment firm is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to two Partners and the Chief Operating Officer.

This is an initial 2-month temporary assignment, with a possibility of extension and the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. Our client is looking for someone to join the team by mid-August, so applicants must be immediately available.

Based in the heart of Mayfair, this is a full-time, office-based position (five days per week).

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a trusted right-hand support to the leadership team, acting as a gatekeeper, coordinator and proactive problem-solver across a broad range of business and occasional personal matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated Executive Assistant support to two Partners and the Chief Operating Officer, acting as a trusted business partner.
  • Manage complex and ever-changing diaries, balancing competing priorities and coordinating schedules across multiple time zones.
  • Coordinate board meetings, investor meetings, leadership forums and portfolio company engagements.
  • Arrange extensive domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, visas, ground transportation and detailed itineraries.
  • Prepare and distribute confidential documents, presentations, board papers and meeting materials.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including investors, portfolio company leadership teams, advisors and external partners.
  • Manage administrative processes, including expenses, CRM updates, legal documentation and wider operational support.
  • Provide discreet personal assistance where required, handling confidential matters with the utmost professionalism.
  • Anticipate the needs of the leadership team, proactively resolving issues before they arise and ensuring they can focus on strategic priorities.

About You

  • An experienced Executive Assistant with a proven background supporting senior executives within finance or professional services.
  • Experienced supporting multiple senior stakeholders with differing priorities and working styles.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to anticipate needs with minimal direction.
  • Commercially minded, with excellent judgement and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Calm under pressure, resilient and adaptable within a fast-moving environment.
  • Emotionally intelligent, confident and professional when dealing with senior executives and high-profile stakeholders.
  • Exceptionally discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Resourceful, solutions-focused and meticulous, with outstanding attention to detail.
  • An excellent communicator who builds credibility and strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in managing complex diaries, international travel and executive logistics.
