We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, high-calibre Onboarding Assistant. This role offers exposure across all aspects of the business and would be well suited to a highly organised HR/Talent Administrator with excellent attention to detail who is looking to grow their career and is eager to learn new skills.
What You'll Do:
- Be the first point of contact for all onboarding queries from new starters and hiring managers.
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Prepare and issue contracts of employment, offer letters, and new starter documentation.
- Carry out pre-employment checks, including right to work verification and reference requests.
- Schedule induction sessions and ensure new employees have the necessary equipment, system access, and information before their start date.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal departments to support a smooth transition for new employees into the business.
- Monitor onboarding activities and follow up on outstanding documentation to ensure compliance.
- Provide administrative support to the wider HR team as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in onboarding processes and employee experience initiatives.
What You'll Need:
- Previous experience as a Human Resources Administrator, Onboarding Coordinator, or within an HR administration role.
- Previous experience in a support role within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience using HR systems and managing employee records is desirable.
- A passion for delivering an outstanding employee experience from day one.
