Job Description

Tiger Private is in search of a House Manager / Property Manager for an UHNW family based in Regents Park, London. This is a fully staffed, well-established household operating at the highest level, currently undergoing a period of significant building works and ongoing property maintenance across their residences. The family require an exceptional House Manager to take ownership of all household operations and act as the central point of contact between the family, their staff, and external contractors.

This is a senior and wide-ranging role based primarily at the family office five days per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for the seamless day-to-day running of the household, overseeing a full team of staff, and managing the considerable volume of building, maintenance, and renovation activity currently underway. This is not a purely administrative role - hands-on experience with property maintenance, contractor management, and building projects is essential and will be central to the position from day one. The House Manager will oversee the management and coordination of all building works and ongoing property maintenance, acting as the primary liaison between the family and contractors, architects, and specialists. They will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and managing tradespeople, ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standard.

Alongside this, the House Manager will manage a fully staffed household team, setting and maintaining rotas, conducting staff reviews, and ensuring all household staff are performing to the highest standard. They will be responsible for overseeing household budgets, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring all properties are maintained impeccably throughout. Additional responsibilities will include coordinating across the family office on administrative and operational matters, managing household inventories, and supporting the family with any ad hoc requirements as they arise.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five to ten years of senior private household or estate management experience, with a demonstrable and hands-on background in property maintenance and building project oversight. Experience managing large household teams and working within a family office environment is highly desirable. They will be a confident, composed, and highly organised professional who leads by example, commands respect from both staff and contractors, and operates with absolute discretion. Strong communication skills, financial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are all essential attributes.

Given the nature of the role, candidates without direct experience in property maintenance and building works management will not be considered.
