Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the successful execution of scaffolding projects across the UAE. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive scaffolding industry experience, strong project management capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing project delivery teams, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Project Delivery

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of scaffolding projects across multiple sites.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and operational execution.
• Coordinate with site teams, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and address operational challenges proactively.
• Ensure all scaffolding installations comply with company standards, client requirements, and local regulations.
• Oversee workforce deployment, equipment utilization, logistics, and material planning to maximize efficiency.
• Manage project budgets, costs, productivity targets, and operational KPIs.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to senior management.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with UAE safety regulations, industry standards, and company HSE policies.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all projects and operational teams.
• Conduct site reviews and support incident prevention initiatives.
• Ensure all project documentation, inspections, and compliance records are maintained accurately.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, supervisors, and site teams.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment, training, and succession planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to improve operational processes and drive business performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience within the scaffolding industry.
• At least 5 years of experience managing scaffolding operations and project delivery teams.
• Strong background in scaffolding installation, project execution, and site operations.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within construction, industrial, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors.
• Sound understanding of scaffolding safety regulations, industry standards, and operational best practices.
• Strong planning, budgeting, resource management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• UAE experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
