Client Relationship Manager, Multi-Family Office
Location: Park Ridge, IL (On-Site Preferred)
Reports to the President, Direct Investments
Salary: $150,000 + competitive bonus

This role is ideal for a polished relationship manager who thrives on delivering an exceptional client experience while coordinating seamlessly across investment, operations, planning, and reporting teams. Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of sophisticated clients, you will build trusted relationships, anticipate client needs, and ensure every interaction is delivered with professionalism, precision, and discretion.
This is a hands-on position that combines relationship management with operational excellence, requiring someone who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and delivering an outstanding level of service.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth families, individuals, and institutional clients.

Build trusted, long-term relationships through exceptional service and proactive communication.

Develop a thorough understanding of each client's objectives, preferences, and unique circumstances.

Respond to client requests, inquiries, and sensitive matters promptly, accurately, and professionally.

Coordinate client meetings, including agenda preparation, presentation materials, follow-up actions, and ensuring all commitments are completed.
Client Service & Operations

Coordinate activities across investment, operations, tax, planning, and reporting teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

Manage account-related requests, including transfers, distributions, documentation, and other operational processes.

Ensure all client communications and deliverables are accurate, timely, and of the highest quality.

Maintain a structured schedule of client reviews, reporting deadlines, and recurring touchpoints.

Gather client feedback and identify opportunities to continuously enhance service delivery.
Client Onboarding

Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, including documentation, account opening, KYC, and AML requirements.

Ensure every new relationship experiences a smooth and well-organized onboarding process.

Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant client records and documentation.
Relationship Growth & Retention

Foster long-term client relationships by identifying opportunities to expand services and deepen engagement.

Support referral opportunities through exceptional relationship management and service.

Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any issues before they impact the client experience.
Process Improvement & CRM Management

Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring client interactions, tasks, and commitments are consistently updated.

Develop and improve standardized processes for onboarding, reporting, client reviews, and ongoing service delivery.

Monitor key service metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.

7+ years of experience in client relationship management within private wealth management, family offices, private banking, investment management, or a similar high-touch financial services environment.

Experience serving as the primary relationship manager for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, or institutional clients.

Strong understanding of investment management, estate planning, trust administration, tax coordination, and wealth management concepts.

Experience coordinating account operations, client reporting, documentation, and investment administration.

Knowledge of KYC, AML, and client onboarding requirements.

Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar systems.
