Accounts Payable Clerk
(18-Month Fixed-Term Contract, Part-Time)
Hours: Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday, 9:15am–3:00pm (approx)
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), £23,000 - £29,500 per annum (pro rata)
A financial services firm are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable assistant to to join their team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to support the business during the implementation of a new finance system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage the registration and payment of supplier invoices.
- Prepare weekly cash flow requirements, advising the Finance Director of payment needs by currency.
- Code invoices accurately to the appropriate cost centres and departments using the SUN accounting system.
- Provide information to support quarterly VAT returns.
- Recharge Head Office costs to business units.
- Arrange foreign currency conversions where required.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting financial data.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
