Job Description

Location: Verbier, Switzerland
Position: Full-Time, Permanent, Live-In

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced, professional, and highly organised Live-In Nanny / Housekeeper to join a warm and welcoming family in the beautiful alpine resort of Verbier.

This is a long-term position for someone who takes pride in creating a well-run household while providing outstanding care and support to four children aged 4, 6, 8 and 14. The family is looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and able to take ownership of the role without requiring close supervision.

The Role

The children attend school during the day, allowing time to focus on ensuring the household runs smoothly. Before and after school, you'll provide hands-on childcare support, helping maintain consistent routines and a happy family environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • School runs and transporting the children to activities (a confident driver is essential).
  • Assisting with morning and evening routines, including bedtime.
  • Preparing nutritious family meals and children's meals.
  • Laundry, ironing, wardrobe organisation, and putting clothes away.
  • Keeping the home tidy, organised, and presentable.
  • Managing seasonal household tasks, particularly during the winter ski season, including organising ski clothing and equipment.
  • Anticipating the family's needs and taking initiative to ensure the household operates efficiently.

A cleaner attends the property four days per week, so this position is centred around household organisation and maintenance rather than deep cleaning.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Nanny, Housekeeper, or Nanny/Housekeeper within a private household.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting busy families.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the confidence to work independently.
  • A full driving licence and strong driving ability.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the family's schedule, particularly during the busy winter months.
  • Excellent references and a commitment to building a long-term relationship with the family.

What's on Offer

  • Separate private live-in accommodation.
  • Approximately 40–45 working hours per week.
  • Two days off each week, with flexibility to work one weekend day as part of the regular schedule.
  • The opportunity to become a valued, long-term member of a welcoming family in one of Switzerland's most desirable locations.

If you are an organised, caring, and proactive professional seeking a long-term role where you can truly make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
