Our client, a leading manufacturer in the personal care industry, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive international business growth and expand its export markets.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with a proven track record in export sales within the personal care manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key international accounts, and increasing market share across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute export sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and secure new distributors, agents, and customers across international markets.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing export customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and contractual terms with international clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends.
- Represent the company at international trade exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry events.
- Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, quality, and marketing teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports for senior management.
- Monitor competitor activity and recommend strategies to strengthen market position.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and international trade requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of export sales experience within the personal care manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience managing international distributors and developing export markets.
- Strong understanding of personal care products, manufacturing processes, and global market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and business development skills.
- Experience working with private label and/or OEM manufacturing is highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify new market opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related discipline is preferred.
