Family Office & Concierge Assistant
Job Description
Tiger Private is seeking a Family Office & Concierge Assistant to join a private family office based between London and Hampshire.
We’re looking for someone thoughtful, grounded, and solutions-focused, with a calm and capable approach to their work. You’ll be a real team player who enjoys helping things run smoothly, is happy to support wherever needed, and wants to be part of a close, supportive team where everyone helps each other and gets stuck in. This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who takes pride in doing things properly and is comfortable adapting to whatever the day brings. Responsibilities and tasks may shift based on evolving needs, but below are the core functions this position is responsible for:
Family office support
- Assist with shopping, sourcing items, and purchasing household and office supplies.
- Collect and deliver documents, parcels, purchases, and other items between residences, offices, suppliers, and external locations.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance, including servicing, MOTs, charging, and cleaning.
- Support with the setup and close-down of office spaces.
- Manage cat care needs such as vet visits, grooming, and supplies, as well as occasional weekend check-ins when Principals are travelling.
- Complete ad hoc research projects for the Principals, including travel, events, and other requests.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the family office by responding promptly to changing priorities.
Guest experience & concierge support
In coordination with the Guest & Family Relations Manager and Family Office team:
- Assist the Food & Beverage team with guest grocery needs and meal preferences.
- Coordinate with the cleaning team to prepare properties for guest arrivals and breakdown after departures.
- Assist with meet and greet services where required, including occasional weekends.
- Assist with guest requests and proactively provide solutions.
- Report any property-related issues that arise before and during guest stays.
- Prepare and reset meeting rooms, hospitality areas, and guest spaces to ensure a high standard of presentation.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records, schedules, and guest information, liaising with international teams for continuity.
Property support
- Receive and manage deliveries across sites.
- Support inventory checks including pantry items, linens, and hospitality supplies, keeping up-to-date records for each property.
- Run errands and source items, often on tight turnarounds.
- Research local services and vendors as needed.
Skills & qualifications:
- Previous experience in a family office, private household, hospitality, concierge, or similar environment is advantageous.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality.
- Resilient, composed, and able to adapt quickly when the unexpected arises.
- Proactive and willing to take ownership rather than waiting to be asked.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and creative skills, with the ability to identify and improve processes.
- Excellent organisational skills, follow-through, and the ability to manage relationships with several stakeholder groups.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to work.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.
- Driver’s licence required and confidence driving in London – access to a company vehicle is available for those aged 25+, in line with our insurance policy. If you’re under 25, you’ll need access to your own car.
- Ability to walk moderate distances, climb stairs, and lift heavy objects.
- Comfortable working in a household with cats.
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
- Highly organised and proactive – confident juggling multiple responsibilities and able to prioritise.
- Adaptable and composed – able to adjust to changing needs and remain calm under pressure.
- Resourceful and practical – able to take broad guidance and turn it into clear, effective action.
- A team player – happy to pitch in, support colleagues, and get involved wherever needed to help the wider team.
- Flexible in your working style – comfortable with some days being desk-based and others more hands-on and out-and-about.
- A clear communicator – able to adapt your communication style depending on the person and situation.
- Professional and discreet – with sound judgment, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Detail-oriented – you take pride in doing things properly and to a high standard.
- Independent yet collaborative – comfortable working independently while being part of a close-knit team.
- Open to feedback and development – willing to learn, improve, and take on new responsibilities.
Core working hours & location:
- Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (schedule may vary depending on household needs/events).
- Ability and willingness to work on-site in North London full-time, travel locally, and travel to the country property (1 hour 30 minutes outside London) as needed.
- Occasional weekend work, compensated with time off in lieu.
