Job Description

Tiger Private is seeking an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the full operational management of a portfolio of newly established, high-specification private residences across the UK, including the family’s principal residence in Surrey.

The family are predominantly based overseas and will be completing on their main UK residence later this year following a substantial refurbishment. The successful Estate Manager will play a pivotal role in the pre-opening, mobilisation and long-term operation of the household, ensuring the estate is fully prepared and operates seamlessly to the highest standards.

This is a senior, long-term position suited to an individual with exceptional private service experience who is confident taking ownership of complex household and estate operations.

Working closely alongside the Executive Family Assistant, the Estate Manager will act as a trusted senior point of contact between the family, household staff, Family Office, external advisors, contractors and service providers. The role will have oversight of a team including Housekeeping, Chef, Security, Stable Manager and Gardener/Handyperson, particularly when the family are in residence.

The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of the family’s preferences, routines and expectations, providing a highly personalised and discreet service and ensuring every aspect of the estate is managed proactively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full operational management of the family’s UK household and estate portfolio

  • Leading the pre-opening and mobilisation of the newly refurbished Surrey residence

  • Overseeing snagging, contractors and outstanding works

  • Ad hoc project coordination and management

  • Leadership, recruitment, training and management of household staff

  • Managing household rotas, standards and day-to-day operations

  • Accurate supplier, contractor and service-provider management

  • Managing relationships with external advisors and professional teams

  • Supporting the Principals and family with household and lifestyle requirements

  • Travel and lifestyle management when required

  • Financial budgeting, forecasting and expenditure management

  • Overseeing household systems, processes and operational procedures

  • Ensuring the properties are maintained to an exceptional standard and fully prepared ahead of family visits

  • Acting as a calm, capable and trusted presence within the household

  • Working closely with the Executive Family Assistant and Family Office to ensure excellent communication and continuity

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be:

  • At least 5-10 years experience as an estate manager for UHNWI
