Our client, a leading organization in the UAE, is seeking a UAE National to join its technology team as Lead, DC Telecom & Network Management.

This is a key technical leadership position responsible for ensuring the availability, security, resilience, and performance of data center telecommunications and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead network infrastructure initiatives, optimize connectivity and capacity, manage technology partners, and ensure the network environment supports the organization’s operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of data center telecommunications and network infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, security, and optimal performance of critical network systems.
• Develop and maintain network topology diagrams, technical documentation, and infrastructure standards.
• Lead network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization initiatives.
• Oversee network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and access controls.
• Analyze network traffic and bandwidth utilization to optimize performance and resource efficiency.
• Manage external telecommunications and technology vendors, ensuring timely service delivery and compliance with agreed SLAs.
• Lead disaster recovery exercises and continuously enhance network resilience and recovery procedures.
• Evaluate emerging telecommunications and networking technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Prepare technical, operational, and management reports to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, controls, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on network infrastructure projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• UAE National – mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in data center telecommunications, network infrastructure, network operations, or IT infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing and switching, telecommunications, and network security.
• Experience with network performance monitoring, capacity planning, optimization, and disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, and access controls.
• Experience managing vendors and monitoring SLA performance.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate effectively within a critical infrastructure environment.
