This is a specialist technical role focused on custom iconography, vector and technical illustration, visual systems, motion graphics, animation and video production. The successful Technical Graphic Designer will combine strong creative ability with advanced technical execution and will help develop the reusable assets and graphic systems used across the wider design team.

Role Responsibilities

• Create sophisticated custom iconography and scalable icon systems.
• Develop original vector illustrations, technical illustrations and explanatory graphics.
• Translate complex concepts and information into clear, engaging visual assets.
• Develop conceptual graphics, visual metaphors and bespoke creative assets.
• Build and maintain reusable graphic libraries, templates and visual systems.
• Produce animated infographics, presentation animations and motion graphics.
• Support the creation of explainer videos and short promotional animations.
• Undertake video editing and post-production where required.
• Work closely with the Design Manager, Senior Designer and wider creative team to ensure technical assets integrate seamlessly into broader design projects.
• Deliver editable source files and production-ready outputs across digital and print formats.
• Maintain exceptional standards of precision, consistency and visual quality across all deliverables.
• Work effectively within a rotating shift structure, including evening and weekend coverage where required.
• Produce and quality check all materials in both Arabic and English, including Arabic typography and bilingual layouts.

Experience & Capabilities

• Significant professional experience in technical graphic design, visual design, motion graphics or a closely related discipline.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating advanced capability in vector illustration, iconography, technical graphics and motion design.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and relevant professional design, animation and video-editing software.
• Strong understanding of visual systems, typography, composition and information design.
• Experience developing scalable graphic assets and reusable design systems.
• Comfortable working across both static and animated content.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on technical accuracy and consistency.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior designers and creative stakeholders.
• Comfortable working under demanding timelines without compromising quality.
• Full professional fluency in both Arabic and English is essential, including the ability to work confidently with Arabic typography and right-to-left layouts.
• Experience with video production, post-production or interactive design would be advantageous.
