Operations Assistant
Salary: £38-45k
Location: Central London
Set up: 4 days in office, Fridays from home
Hours: 9am - 5.30pm
Start date: ASAP

A dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy based in Central London is looking for a proactive Operations Assistant to join their friendly, social team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright graduate or business diploma graduate with some office experience, looking to build their career within a fast-paced, sociable environment.

The Role

Reporting into the team, you'll take ownership of the smooth day-to-day running of the office, supporting across a variety of administrative, operational and communications-based tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the office and ensuring it is well stocked and organised
  • Managing and maintaining the CRM system, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
  • Being the first point of contact for incoming phone and email enquiries
  • Ordering office supplies and managing office requirements, including snacks, coffee and milk
  • Updating the HR database and supporting with new starter onboarding
  • Coordinating recruitment schedules, including arranging interviews and liaising with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinating company-wide meetings, such as company updates and interviews, with guidance from the team
  • Preparing meeting materials and supporting with meeting logistics
  • Taking and circulating internal meeting minutes, with AI tools used where appropriate
  • Monitoring and keeping track of shared inboxes, ensuring queries are responded to or directed appropriately
  • Compiling and circulating the monthly newsletter
  • Maintaining the shared calendar, including annual leave, birthdays and company-wide events
  • Supporting the social committee and helping to organise company events
  • Booking dinners, flights and accommodation
  • Providing general administrative and operational support across the business
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

About You

  • Proactive, organised and quick to learn, with a willingness to get stuck into tasks of all sizes
  • Personable and not precious - a true team player
  • A bright graduate or diploma graduate with some office experience
  • Strong MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills
  • Comfortable learning and using CRM and HR systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
  • Full right to work in the UK
