House Manager/PA - Holland Park
Job Description
Tiger Private is looking for an experienced and highly capable House Manager/PA to oversee a private residence in Holland Park and provide hands-on personal support to the Principals and their family. The Principals are predominantly based overseas and spend approximately four months of the year at the property. The role will therefore combine property management with Private PA responsibilities, ensuring the residence is beautifully maintained and completely prepared for their arrival, while also supporting with a variety of personal and family requirements. The property is currently undergoing an extensive interior design project, so initially there will be a strong focus on coordinating contractors, suppliers, furniture deliveries and installations.
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing the ongoing interior design project and acting as the main point of contact for contractors, designers, suppliers and tradespeople
- Coordinating furniture, deliveries and installations and ensuring everything is completed to the required standard
- Keeping the Principals updated on progress while they are overseas
- Overseeing the general maintenance and day-to-day management of the Holland Park residence
- Ensuring the property is fully prepared ahead of the Principals’ arrival, with excellent attention to detail and thoughtful finishing touches
- Arranging flowers, groceries and other household requirements prior to and during the Principals’ stays
- Organising Housekeepers and other temporary household staff as required
- Managing contractors, maintenance appointments and suppliers
- Overseeing the maintenance of a second family property
- Running errands and providing ad hoc personal assistance to the Principals and family
- Managing deliveries, purchases, returns and other personal requests
- Handling a variety of ad hoc Private PA and household-related tasks
Ideal candidate:
- Previous experience as a House Manager/PA within an HNW or UHNW household
- Strong experience coordinating interior design, refurbishment or high-end residential projects
- Confident liaising with contractors, interior designers, suppliers and tradespeople
- Excellent organisational and project coordination skills
- Highly hands-on and happy to manage both significant property matters and smaller personal requests
- Naturally service-minded, with excellent attention to detail and an understanding of the special touches required to prepare a private residence for a Principal’s arrival
- Proactive and able to anticipate requirements rather than waiting for instructions
- Comfortable working independently while the Principals are overseas
- Flexible and willing to run errands and assist with varied family requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Discreet, trustworthy and accustomed to working within private households
